Do I recall meeting you, Jay D'Aprile, while chatting with my chum Eric Shultz at a meeting of HMO Executives in Boca Raton last year?

We leeches, oops--I meant to type health insurance executives--are ever so proud of ourselves, aren't we? (And of our paychecks and "compensation packages", too, of course!!)

Eric,

At this time of year it important to reflect on the past year. As someone who interacts with health care organizations across the U.S. I feel that as a country we must continue to create, innovate and come up with new way to provide the best healthcare to our citizens regardless of their ability to pay. As we all know coming up with solutions to tackle our healthcare challenges is never going to be easy and it takes courageous leaders in states like Massachusetts to lead the way for the rest of country. From someone who lives in Illinois I do agree with you that it is indeed time for “Massachusetts to Take A Bow”.

Happy Holidays!
