With these enormous cost savings there should be a full court press on this and other programs like palliative and Hospice care and the Pace program for dementia patients. ALL thses programs vastly improve the quality of life for people and save scarce resouirces. The recent layoffs of social workers is counterintuitive to achieve enrollment for these are the frontline people who do the enrollment and educate the public about these programs.
