Boston Medical Center (BMC) will pay the state $562,000 to resolve allegations that the hospital gave private patient information to its insurance plan for Commonwealth Care members. The plan, “HealthNet,” allegedly used that information for what the state calls deceptive marketing to 2,600 members of competing plans.
